What Cheerfully is
Cheerfully is giving software for churches. It is not a bank, wallet or money transmitter, and it does not hold or pool church funds. Payments are processed and settled by a licensed payment provider under the church's own arrangement.
Church responsibilities
Churches are responsible for the accuracy of their profile, giving categories, campaigns and settlement details, and for complying with the laws that apply to their fundraising and finances.
Gifts and refunds
Gifts are made directly to the receiving church and are generally non-refundable. Refund or reversal requests are handled by the receiving church together with the payment provider.
Fees
Payment provider fees and any platform fee are disclosed to the church and configured per church, including whether the church or the giver bears them.
Acceptable use
Cheerfully may not be used for fraudulent, deceptive or unlawful collections. Accounts found doing so may be suspended.
